Dine in romance at a restaurant begun by romance! Established in 2013,
owners Renzo and Crystal were honeymooning in Tiburon and came across the
vacant restaurant on a romantic stroll on Main Street. They put a lot of love
into the renovations to enhance the beautiful spot, and Executive Chef Renzo
has been a restauranteur for over 15 years while his wife Crystal is happy to
assist with the front of house. The name Luna Blu means blue moon in Italian,
it relates to their honeymoon and also something special and rare. Serving
weekend brunch, lunch and dinner, they only serve sustainable seafood and
naturally raised meat and poultry from small farms.
“ When in beautiful, charming Tiburon there are just a few restaurants
along the water & Luna Blu is one not to miss! Unique ambiance by candle
light at night (heaters if needed) romantic overlooking the marina, lit houses
on the hillside -bay & San Fran-we had the perfect table outside but inside
was nice too-definitely make a reservation-nice service -delicious pasta with
clams, homemade meats balls & eggplant parm. Espresso & cappuccinos to
finish off our date nite!” – J. Donatelli

Piatti brings new meaning to the words “dine with a view,” with
stunning views of Richardson’s Bay and Mount Tamalpais giving an idyllic
backdrop to your dining experience. Italian-inspired, seasonally-dictated
cuisine from local farms and producers create to make a rustic, flavorful cuisine
paired with an interesting wine list and a comprehensive offering of craft
beers and unique, artisan cocktails.
“ Walked from our nice hotel (Aqua) around the corner. This is a lovely
authentic Italian restaurant where it appeared that most of the people were
regulars and locals. I had the muscles with linguine and it was outstanding.
The waiter had worked there for many years and was just the nicest man. I will
certainly go to Piatti every time that I am in Mill Valley” – Scott N.

Truly a family business, chef and owner Duilio Valenti was born and
raised in Lombardy and has dedicated his life in pursue of the art of cooking.
His wife Maria is the host, and daughter Bianca is in charge of the wine list.
Together, they bring you the ultimate dining experience inspired by Northern
Italy and made tasteful by the local ingredients of Marin. The best organic
produce brings a dash of flavor to already sumptuous meats and the fresh seafood
comes in from local small boats.
“The owner of Valenti, a native Italian, still cooks in the kitchen
every night. I’ve never had a bite of food at this neighborhood favorite that
wasn’t delicious. The staff remember your name and are generous with a terrific
wine list. The place feels both family run and yet elevated. The menu doesn’t
change a lot, but the dishes are clearly taught by hand by Nonna. Our go-to
date restaurant. My husband orders the Pappardelle, which is both rich and
brightened by the rosemary, pretty much every time we go. That is, unless he
gets the Gnocchi, also amazing, or they have Amatriciana as a special. I love
any of their salads followed by the meatball appetizer, or the cod.” – Natasha I.

Family owned and operated for over 40 years, Scoma’s is a Sausalito
icon serving fresh and hearty seafood to locals and tourists alike. It doesn’t
get any more romantic as you dine over the Bay in a 19th Century
Victorian building. Toast the night with your partner as you watch the sunset
over the waters and enjoy their sumptuous meals over wine.
“ My husband and I stopped in here on our tour of Sausalito and were
not disappointed. Food was amazing, but it was the service that impressed us.
Peter was hands down the best server we have ever had, in all of our travels
and in our own home. Best dining experience of our trip, hands down. If I could
give more than five stars, I would.” – Charissa J.
